Yellowstone
Your Yellowstone prediction is a cop out. If it did blow, not only would NA turn into a wasteland but the whole planet would be so bad that the nuclear winters predicted in our youth would seem like fun. Basically if your predication is correct you will be present to collect the prize, but if wrong it will be the least of anyone’s worries.
The “at least two magnitude 8 quakes” is pretty much a sure thing. That happens most years. See http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/eq_depot/2007/2007_stats.html – edit the year in the URL to see other years. 2008 was the exception not having any magnitude 8s.
